IN THIS LESSON

Self study prompts- take 5 mins post practice to write or reflect

  • What does your energy feel like right now?

  • What did you observe in your body before your practice and what did you observe during the practice?

  • What did you notice about your thoughts, did they change, how would you describe them?

Make notes for yourself from your observations as a way to look back on how these alter from the practices you will be learning, and for when you revisit this observation practice at any future point.

Be open to not understanding what you notice.

Sometimes we don’t have the language for the sensations we experience, or likewise sometimes there are parts of us that feel like they don’t feel or exist at all. This is all very normal.

To be able to establish a new baseline with your breath and your health, we need to open to what is and isn’t happening within us as our building block.

By being fully willing to experience ourselves, we are actually sending the message to ourselves that we have the strength and confidence to be with whatever we discover- what we like, what we don't, and what we don't understand yet.
