Breathing Fundamentals

Course Overview

Breath is with us from the moment we arrive into the world—yet many of us move through life without ever truly noticing how we breathe.

Stress, illness, trauma, fatigue, pain, posture, and the pace of daily life can all shape the breath. Over time we may find ourselves breathing shallowly, holding the breath without realising, or feeling disconnected from the body altogether.

Breathing Fundamentals is an invitation to return to your breath with curiosity, gentleness, and awareness.

This 6-week self-guided course is a soul-led exploration of foundational breathing practices designed to help reduce stress, support wellbeing, and bring greater connection between body, breath, and mind.

Whether you are completely new to breathwork or returning to the breath as part of your healing journey, this course meets you exactly where you are.

There is nothing to perfect here.

No ideal way to breathe.

No performance.

Simply an opportunity to pause… notice… and begin building a relationship with your breath.

Through guided teaching, simple breath practices, reflection, and embodied awareness, you’ll learn how the breath can become a tool for:

  • nervous system regulation

  • stress reduction

  • emotional grounding

  • improved breath awareness

  • relaxation and rest

  • presence and self-connection

  • supporting overall health and wellbeing

All practices are are gentle, accessible, and designed to be woven into everyday life, the sessions are delivered in a comfortable seated position and are accessible for individuals with long-term health conditions, limited mobility, or paralysis.
