Programme Overview

Pain Reprocessing & Yoga-Based Recovery

This project integrates Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) with principles from traditional yoga philosophy to support individuals living with persistent or chronic pain.

Pain Reprocessing Therapy is based on the understanding that chronic pain is not always caused by ongoing injury, but can be maintained by patterns within the brain and nervous system. Through education and guided practice, participants learn how to understand pain differently, reduce fear responses, and rebuild trust in their bodies.

Alongside modern pain science, we incorporate practices drawn from original yoga philosophy, including breath awareness, mindful movement, and body-based regulation. These approaches support nervous system health, improve body awareness, and encourage safe re-engagement with daily activities.

❋ Programme Structure

The Pain Reprocessing Programme is delivered in a range of flexible formats to meet the needs of organisations, communities, and healthcare settings. These include educational workshops, in-person learning days, community classes, group programmes, and accessible online resources.

❋ Collaborative Energy

Through shared knowledge and partnership working, we support accessible delivery, appropriate signposting, and sustainable pathways for ongoing care.

❋ Expert Facilitation

Sessions are led by an experienced Clinical Yoga and Breathwork Practitioner, delivering trauma-informed, evidence-based practices that support nervous system regulation, pain recovery, and overall wellbeing.

❋ A Supportive Space

Our events prioritise comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage in the process.

Francesca Bingley

Yoga & Breathwork Practitioner | Pain Reprocessing Therapy Coach| Nurse & Case Manager

Francesca brings together a background in yoga and healthcare with a deeply embodied approach to change.

Alongside her work as a Nurse and Case Manager, she has been practicing yoga for over 20 years and teaching for over 10 years. She works through breath, movement, and connection- supporting people to reconnect with themselves and move towards lives that feel authentic, spacious, and more their own.

She works with people who have the energy for change. Those who may be living with long-term health conditions, disabilities, or complex experiences—and who feel a readiness, however small, to do something differently. Often, her role is to help people “connect the dots”: to make sense of what they’re experiencing, recognise patterns, and explore what the next stage of their life could look like- starting in that moment.

Our Approach

Our work focuses on helping individuals:

  • Understand how chronic pain develops

  • Build awareness of stress and pain patterns

  • Develop tools to calm the nervous system

  • Reconnect safely with movement and daily life

  • Improve confidence, resilience, and wellbeing

This integrated approach supports both physical and emotional recovery, while promoting long-term health and self-management.
